Daily Prayer
Lk.2:26:38. Dec. 30, 2023. Lord, let me know my mission
My God of all creation, you have a plan for everyone, plans to prosper and never to fail. Help me know your plan for me and do what you want me to do. Like Anna, let me seek you and find you for you are my Lord and my all, my God in whom I trust. Foster in me a life of prayer and penance and give me the grace of perseverance all the days of my life. St Anna, intercede for us. Amen.
Lk.2:33-35. Dec. 29, 2023. Lord, your ways are full of surprises and wonders.
My Lord and my God, like Mary and Joseph, it leaves me with wonder and awe when I hear all the incidents that surrounded the birth of your Son our Lord Jesus which showed your mighty power at work in His life. You, our Great and Mighty God come in person to dwell among us. In the same way as Simeon and Anna, I witness with wonder and awe seeing your mighty handiworks in the life of the world today. You still inspire and heal your people, you still talk and reveal many things to them. You still rescue the poor and set the captives free. Your powerful miracles still abound everywhere. You are a God of Miracles and wonders. Continue to do your wonderful works amongst us, O Lord I pray, and establish your kingdom strongly here on earth. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Jn.20:1-3. Dec. 27, 2023. You love me too, Jesus
My Sweet Infant Jesus, to talk to you and about you is to realize I am loved by you. Every day, I ponder your love for me, for you are so tender and kind. Like the Apostle John, I know you love me personally too, Jesus. Help me, Lord, to share the holy intimate love that existed between you and Saint John and teach me also to love others truly. Jesus, I love you. Amen
Dec. 26, 2023. May the words of my mouth come from you, o Lord my God.
O Lord my God, all wisdom and power comes from you. May I be able to say the right thing at the right time. Overshadow me by your holy power, o Lord, that I may do only your will. Saint Stephen pray for me that I like you, may be open to the inspired words and actions of God when I need them the most, and that I may see His glory around me. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Lk.1:64. Dec. 24, 2023. Pardon my often lack of faith, Lord
O Lord my God, you are God Who never fails. What you say you will do it. All power belongs to you and you can do all things. Like Zacharia, I acknowledge my often lack of faith in your mighty handiwork. Pardon my lack of faith, O Lord, and help that from my past failures I may make new resolutions for the future as I learn from my mistakes. My promising Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Luke 1:46-47. Dec. 23, 2023. My soul, proclaim the greatness of your God.
Oh my soul, proclaim the greatness of your Lord for He comes to rule the earth. Rejoice and be glad and let the Lord enter for He comes to fortify you and bring you peace and joy. With Mary our Mother, rejoice for she brings forth the King of the universe, the one compared to none. Mother Mary pray for me that I may glorify God always. All glory and honor be unto you, Jesus, my Lord, and my God, now and forever. Amen
Lk 1:39-40. Dec. 21, 2023. My Lord and my God, come.
My Lord and my God come and live within me. Come and transform me with your holy presence. Make me your temple, your dwelling place that I may have you, and share you with others. How can I share you when I do not have you? I need your presence, O Lord. Come Lord come! Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Lk.129:20. Dec. 19, 2023. My heavenly Father, you are a God of Miracles and wonders.
My wonderful Father, you are a God of miracles and wonders. No mind can comprehend your ways fully. Like Zacharia, I am weak and sinful and not trusting in your words and acts. My Dearest Father, I know I lack the depth of perfect faith that I desire to have, help me to trust and never doubt that you are a God of miracles and wonders, a God of Might and Power who can change the doctor’s report and make impossibilities possible. My Lord and my God, I trust in you. Amen.
Mt.1:18-19. Dec. 8, 2023. Lord, you make impossibilities possible.
O Lord of might and power, your ways are not our ways for you can make impossibilities possible. You can write on crooked lines and do what man cannot do. Into your hands, I commit what I cannot understand in this life. Help me, by your grace, with confidence and courage to keep trusting in your will. Jesus, I trust in you Amen.
Mt.27:13-13. December 16, 2023. May I be humble to listen to you, O Lord.
O God of wonders, I may not understand all that you say to me, Lord. For that which I can not understand, help me with the gift of faith to always trust in you. Your words are full of mysteries and truths, help me to listen to you with humility and openness so that I may come to know you fully. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Mt.11, 16-17. Dec. 15, 2023. May I not be spiritually blind, O Jesus.
O Lord my God, you came on earth and dwelled among men but many did not recognize you. Give me the grace that I may not be that blind to see you are already in our midst. Come, Lord Jesus, open my eyes of faith to see you by my side and in the world today, and to worship you, our God with us. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Mt.11:12. Dec. 14, 2023. Oh, wake up my soul and embrace what is yours.
Oh, wake up my soul and embrace what is yours. Arise, and don’t be haughty, naughty, or caroused by earthlies; things that would not last. Be radical my soul, and stand firm less you stumble in the winds and storms of the days and the world. Almighty God, lend out your spirit of courage, boldness, and fortitude into my soul and grant me the grace not to waver but to radically embrace your will and your ways. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Mt.11:28. Dec. 13, 2023. How wonderful and gracious is it to come to my God?
My coming Jesus, you come every day. You are here and saying “Come to me”. Who am I to decline the invite of my King? Yes, You invite, and I say here am I Lord, hold my hand, enfold me, whisper to me, and lead me on. How wonderful and gracious is it to come to my Lord and my God! What is a being on earth without you? Lord Jesus, you come, and here am I coming to you, draw me into your presence so that I may find the rest you promise. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.
Lk.1 30-31. Dec. 12, 2023. Our Lady of Guadalupe, you are my Merciful Mother too.
O Mother full of grace, you revealed to Juan Diego that you are his Merciful Mother, I trust you are my Merciful Mother too. I thank you Mother for your many revelations and appearances on Earth. You are my Mother, my Model, and my Intercessor. Your great love for me desires that I should be holy as you are holy. Pray for me O Merciful Mother of Guadalupe that I may imitate you in everything I do. Thank you, Mother Mary. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.
Lk.5:1-9. Dec. 11, 2023. May your authority shine forth always, O Lord.
Lord of mercy and compassion, May your authority continue to shine forth and fill our world, so that all may see and believe that all power belongs to you and glorify you. For the sake of our unbelief, O Lord my God, do your work again in our midst, I pray, heal the sick, humble the proud and arrogant, make the blind to see, the deft to hear that the Kingdom of God is here and now. Lord, in imitation of you, give me the grace of radical love, especially to those I find most difficult to love. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Lk.1:26-28. Dec. 8, 2023. I honor you Mary, my Mother and Model.
O, Immaculate Conception, grace filled your soul on the day of your conception and preserved you from the stain of sin. May I join with the Angels and Elisabeth today to shout out “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you”. I gaze upon your simple, gentle, and modest example and honor you, my Mother and Model. Pray for me too that I may be filled with the grace of faith, goodwill, and humility after your example. Mary, my Mother and Model, pray for us. Amen.
Mt.7:21. Dec. 7, 2023. You see and know all things, O Lord.
My Omnipresent and Saving God, can human beings deceive you or hide anything from you? No, you are all-knowing, and you see the hearts of men. O my Loving Father in heaven, help me to fulfill your will today and always, that I shall have answers to your questions at the final quiz. Let me see my life in the light of judgment day and strive to do your will. Let my day of judgment be a day of exceeding joy and glory. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Mt.15:36-37. Dec. 6, If I have you, I have everything, Lord
Your presence O Lord is life-giving and full of consolation. Where can I find abundance of peace and joy but in your presence? How I wish perpetual adoration and the wonder and awe of your glory were my daily food. That like the five thousand, I may go for days without food for the awe of your glory fills me up. Lord Jesus, come and manifest your presence, and let wonder and awe of You surround my entire being for if I have You, I have everything. My Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Lk. 10:23-24. Dec. 5, 2023. I desire to see you, O Lord my God.
Jesus my everliving God, the prophets of old longed to see you, your disciples saw you in person, lived, worked, and feasted with you. Nowadays you are with us in truth, in your Holy Spirit, your word, in your body and blood in the Holy Eucharist, and others. I desire to see you, O Lord my God, to savor your presence and to give you glory and honor always. Come, Lord Jesus, I love you, I trust in you. Amen.
Mt. 8:8-9. Dec. 4, 2023. You are all-powerful, O Lord.
My Omnipotent Jesus, you are all-powerful and all power comes from you. You can do everything your children ask you in faith. My anxiety, doubt, fear, and confusion at times are a lack of faith and confidence in your all-powerful authority, and the denial that I am nothing without you. Like the Centurion, O Lord, I am not able to do perfect things but with you all things are possible. I surrender all to you, my Lord and my God. Amen
Lk.21:36. Dec. 2, 2023. In you and only in you will I find rest, O Lord my God.
My meek and lowly Jesus, no place of rest on earth so sweet and dear than your most consoling arms. I entrust to you all that makes me caroused and not prepared for you. I surrender all to you and say, come Lord Jesus, and take possession of my whole being. I hold nothing back for in you and only in you will I find rest and be freed from all anxieties. Come, Lord Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
Lk.21:32-33. Dec. 1, 2023. Your word is a lamp to my feet, O Lord.
My Everliving God, you are the unchangeable changer. I will go where you want me to go, and do what you want to do, o Lord, for your word that never passes away, is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Give me the grace to ponder, meditate, pray, and believe your word daily for they are life. The world may change and situations fluctuate but your Word Lord, is my anchor. May I cling to your word that I may find the Stability I need. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen
I have come to believe that if you want to change others, change yourself and live it there.
