Lesson Objective:
Students will be able to recognize and identify the letter Gg, both in uppercase and lowercase forms and understand its sound and usage.
Materials Needed:
- Letter Gg flashcards
- Chart paper and markers
- Magnetic letters (optional)
- Worksheets or coloring pages with the letter Gg
- Books featuring words that start with the letter Gg
Lesson Plan:
Lesson 1. Introduction (5 minutes):
- Gather students in a circle and show them a flashcard with the letter Gg.
- Ask students if they know the name and sound of the letter.
- Sing a song or recite a rhyme that includes words starting with the letter Gg to engage their interest.
Lesson 2. Letter Gg Discussion (10 minutes):
