- Picture cards of objects starting with the letter Pp (e.g. pig, pencil, pumpkin)
- Whiteboard or chart paper
- Markers or colored pencils
Exploring The Letter Pp.
Procedure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes):- Begin by reviewing previously taught letters and their sounds. - Introduce the letter Pp letter with a Pp flashcard and pronounce its sound. - Encourage students to after you and practice saying it together a few times.  |  |
2. Letter Pp Brainstorm (10 minutes):- Ask students to think of words that start with the letter P. - Write down their responses on the whiteboard or chart paper. - Discuss the meaning of each word and encourage students to use them in simple sentences.  |   |
3. Pictorial Connection (15 minutes):- Show the picture cards of objects starting with the letter P one by one. - Have students identify the objects and repeat the corresponding words. - Discuss each object briefly, emphasizing the first sound they hear and the letter P.   |  |
4. Writing Practice with the Pp (10 minutes)- Provide each student with a sheet of paper and markers or colored pencils. - Guide them in tracing and writing the letter P, both uppercase and lowercase, on their papers. - Circulate the classroom to assist and provide feedback as needed.    |  |
